TIMING IS EVERYTHING WHEN STARTING A BUSINESS

        TIMING is a key factor in starting any new business or starting a marketing campaign for that matter.   In addition to determining your specific target market for your product or service, you also must analyze what mindset your potential customers are in at the moment you are contacting your sales prospects. Is a current local or world event occuring that results in your sales message being interpreted as insensitive by the listener? For example, you would not think of commencing a mass email marketing campaign attempting to stimulate interest in your new hot air baloon ride service around the same time there was a highly publicized tragic hot air baloon accident in the area. It's a good idea to "Google" your product or service to research such news prior to launching any maketing campaign. This advice seems obvious, but too many times your excitement for your product or service leads you to hurry too fast to get the word out about it.
